You have two reasons to keep a black and white outfit in your wardrobe. The first is that whatever you’ll be wearing, it will give you a ‘so-sophisticated’ air. Probably one of the most chic you could ever achieve. Two colors couldn’t compliment each other better. The second reason is that the effect never goes out style. There’s in fact something crisp and clean about black and white.
But if you want to go beyond classical outfits, the choice is really wide. From flashy accessories in acid green, bright fucsia pink, electric blue, to weird black and white patterns and prints.
For an extra glamor, you can pair together elegant items, such as a Birkin bag or a white faux fur coat and studded leather gloves, for instance.
But if you want to revive the trend a little more, the easiest way to wear black and white is by adding a touch of casual, thanks to a pair of jeans, which will help make the rest less serious.
And if you’re wondering about the shoes, and don’t want to go too colorful, stilettos are the best option. Always. On the nails, to be not too much predictable, a neutral polish, better if in a pink-y-mud-y-grey will look wonderful.
For an extra tip, feel free to add a touch of ‘marsala’, the color of the year, with a detail, or an accessory, such as a ring.
And what about make up? Well, I opted for a very minimal look, thanks to smokey eyes, a touch of bronzer on the cheeks and almost-bare lips, as I’ve seen many times on the catwalks. Those of you who prefer reds, of course, will feel free to add a very bold lipstick.
Wishing you a wonderful week and if you enjoyed the post, leave a comment, I’ll be very glad to get your opinions about black and white and how I’ve worn it.
