Chic November on the shelf

Chic November on the shelf

First of all many apologizes for the picture above, but with the awful weather and the very low natural light we’re experiencing this month, it has been very tricky to shoot the usual monthly shelf selection this time. I’m sorry for the mean result I came up with.

As you probably will understand, the real actors on the stage are skincare products, next to a wonderful fragrance I bought for my birthday as a self-present. This moment of the year is the best for a full-immersion into retinol, vitamin C, collagen boosters, acids and other ingredients that brighten and reduce fine lines, but can damage a serious sensitizing to the sun beams.

Starting from left to right, this November edition of my beauty shelf features:

The Body Shop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Serum

Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Vitamin C Youth Activating Oil

Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Foundation

Benefit Gimme Brows in the shade #light-medium

Essie Nail polish in the shade #Mademoiselle

Essie Nail polish in the shade #Marshmallow

Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium

Alverde Wild-rose&Sea-Buckthorn Organic Body oil

I remember my mum was surrounded by a sensual cloud of Opium when I was a child and it was such a strong fragrance that it caused me a headache, so imagine the surprise when I smelt this version, which is totally different from the classical one…I think we both enjoy the Opium of our decade, in a certain sense…
